The texts accompanying each work are not explanations, but entry points into conversation, reflection, and personal interpretation.

Medium: Mixed media (Steel , Leather,Brass)
Echoes is a mixed-media sculpture that explores themes of potential, hesitation, and transformation. A steel box suggests the mental and emotional structures that can contain or restrict possibility, while a pinned butterfly inside may be read as unrealized potential held within states of fear, comfort, or pause. Outside the box, five butterflies in flight evoke a sense of movement toward change and the shifting possibilities that can emerge when doubt loosens its hold.
Through the contrast between containment and release, the work opens a space to reflect on the thresholds between limitation and expansion, and the quiet moments where change begins.

Medium: Steel, leather, chain, mixed media
“The box is open — yet few choose to leave.”
Comfort Zone is a mixed-media sculpture that reflects on the subtle psychology of self-imposed limitation. A butterfly rests within a welded steel box etched with neural-like pathways, suggesting states of thought, habit, and internal structure. Nearby, a chain and leather element introduce a sense of both containment and potential release, where restriction and care exist in close proximity.
The work considers the tension between safety and expansion—the spaces we return to for comfort, and the thresholds that quietly ask to be crossed. Rather than offering resolution, it opens a reflection on choice, awareness, and the delicate moment where change becomes possible.

Medium: Steel, leather, mixed media
Wings of Resistance presents a single red leather butterfly resting upon a black pillow, its stitched surface suggesting a state of becoming rather than completion. Nearby needles introduce a sense of precision and intervention, evoking both vulnerability and the potential for deliberate change.
Encased within a steel box engraved with fluid, neural-like pathways, the work reflects on adaptability and the mind’s capacity to shift, rewire, and transform over time. The contrast between restraint and emergence creates a tension between what holds us and what allows us to evolve.
Rather than resolving this tension, the work opens a space to consider resilience as an ongoing process—quiet, intentional, and deeply internal.
